Because my cats love my books, ha ha...

Okay, I'm sure that in reality the cats don't care all that much, but they certainly do pretend to be interested.
I have two cats, Sherlock and Dr Watson, and they seem to have developed quite a proprietorial stance on my paperbacks. I regularly find one of them apparently "reading" the books if I leave them around the house during one of my re-editing sessions. I think they must like the way the ink smells or something, but if Sherlock isn't sticking his nose inside, then Dr Watson is sleeping on them. He seems to know exactly what I want to look at and then deliberately lies down right on top of it.
Cats - they're contrary little blighters, but you can't help loving them.
